Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 in 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She played Tiffany Wilson in 2004's White Chicks, Danielle Brooks on USA Network TV series Covert Affairs, Dr. Amber Volakis for Fox House as well as House house. Lura Grant appears appearing on HBO Big Love. Francine Hanson has a role on AMC Mad Men. Anne Dudek has gained fame for her work as an American actress who played Tiffany Wilson in White Chicks which was a comedy from 2004. Her other roles include her television roles as The Dr. Amber Volakis in Fox's sitcom House Danielle Brookson in USA Network's drama Covert Affairs and Lura Grant in HBO's drama Big Love. Growing up in Massachusetts Dudek went to Northwestern University where she got her first role as an actor in the theatrical production of The Iphigenia Cycle. The production was staged in New York City, the show was withdrawn off Broadway, and Dudek was awarded the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as a promising young actress to watch. Dudek was offered roles on television and on the big screen. Matthew Heller, the talented actress, mother of two behind the camera was her husband for a period of time from 2008 to 2016 Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. When she was a child, she attended Northwestern University where she performed in a variety of theatre productions. She also made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain (2000). Her role on stage in The Glass Menagerie earned her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. Then she appeared on TV first starring in the British comedy drama The Book Group. She has also guest starred on other television shows like Desperate, Housewives, How I Met Your Mother and Friends Charmed Bones. In the pilot of Psych Dudek played Lucinda as well as in Law & Order Criminal Intent she played a teacher with a relationship with a student. Dudek was offered her first regular part in House, portraying Amber Volakis. The character was one of the forty physicians who Dr. Gregory House considered for the permanent positions on his team. In the House's Heart and Head two-part season finale the character was removed. The episode of 5th season, Saviors, House would have the character reappear in a hallucination. This was how she appeared for the remainder seasons. Dudek was later seen on Big Love and Mad Men in recurring roles as Alby Grant's antagonistic spouses, Francine Hanson. Dudek was in Covert Affairs, portraying Danielle Brooks as the sister of the central character. Her other film roles are Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
